Who's a heartbreaker?

And a boy option...although I have decided it can be unisex because look how cute it is on my chick.

Boys need valentines shirt options as well:)
I have them in sizes 2 through 12.

He won't want to put this one away after Valentine's either (and he doesn't have to)
...this shirt is sooo soft.
It is the same shirt I use for the Rockstar shirts and the black Kapow tees.
I love it.

She loves her dog.

Get them while I have fresh stock...not sure I have time to do another printing before the big day.
You can get them here.

Valentine bling

I have no idea why my Valentine's Day options are so poor.
None.
I am nothing but honest.
Truthfully last year with the CPSIA thang going on, I was so worried that I would be put out of business.
Then I tested everything and found that the only thing full of lead that I am working with is my brain.
Never the less...last year was a write off on the Holiday items.  Freaking out does not put you in the holiday sprit.  This year. I have no excuse.
So today I made this little diddy.

I made the mistake of telling her she could lick the lollipop

then the sugar kicked in

do you have any idea why the dentist today told us we need braces?
In fact...I got double the good news...both my kids need braces.
Good times.

look at that mouth
Don't tell me the dentist did not see $$$$ signs when we walked in the door.
I need to sell alot more shirts.

I also did a couple other pieces.

and the twitter tee
(clearly most children do not have twitter accounts...this one is supposed to be fun and creative)
think
@sugarpie
@cupcake_chick
@doll_face
soooo many options

Today I am...

Reading this...

and I watched this

Do you see the disconnect?  Ya...me too.  But I cannot explain my brain.
I like scary ghost stuff.  I do not like ooey gooey scary...I just like ghosty scary.
One of my favorite shows is Ghost Adventures on friday night.
I kinda laugh more during it than get spooked.  I watch it while making pretty sparkly stuff.
Clearly I am strange.  Anyways.  My husband wanted to watch this Paranormal movie.
I wasn't thrilled.  I thought I would be too scared.  He slept through it.
I watched it in the dark...by my one little table lamp...while I worked at midnight. By myself.
I was not scared.  At all.  I am not easily impressed these days.
We watched 500 days of summer last week.  Meh.  Boooooring.
Twilight...nope...not for me.  I didn't read the book first...that was my first mistake I think.
My second mistake was being turned off by the extreme paleness of those vampire dudes.
Remember...my favorite barbie is Malibu Barbie.
'nuff said:)

Not much to say today...

My computer is going reeeeeeeeealllly slooooowly right now.
So.  I am not going to post much because I have the patience of a knat at the moment.
I will leave you with a couple pictures of a pair of shoes I made myself over the holidays.
Why did I make them?  Because I had 10 free minutes and I get really really ansy.
Must.
Make.
Something.
Sparkley.

This is my effort to not wear my mocs or my uggs everyday.
Basically...to wear a pair of comfy shoes that has more than 4 letters in its name:)
Ha. Like converse is a huge improvement over uggs?

Maybe they are when they are sparkly converse.
I think one of my children need a high top version.

Cupcake Expert

Look what I just found.
I thought I was sold out of all my cupcake expert tanks.
Not so.  I love these tanks.
If you love cupcakes (like me...ya ya) you need a tank.
I have ladies smalls and mediums...and kids size 8 and 10's.
Check them out here.
The blue with the pink glitter is my favorite.
Just stocked my etsy shop...which will have more stuff in it soon because I found other goodies
I thought I was sold out of as well.

Tempting...

I wanna paint something.
When I paint...I mean PAINT.
I like color.  Shocker...I know.
I have a secretaries table that I am dreaming of painting bright purple.
And now, I just found chalkboard paint in colors.
I think my pantry door needs some color.

I tend to not let these ideas go when they pop in my head.

Ahhh...J Crew...how I love you...yet you irritate me sometimes.

A couple months ago, I think it was November, I saw this sweatshirt in the J Crew Catalog.
Love at first sight (site lol) and well...I figured I would share it with Santa.
It was sold out:(  Soooo sad.  So imagine my surprise when I saw it was back in stock the other day.
So I was checking it out a little closer and HELLO...delivery April 22nd.  WHAT?
Does JCrew not realize what the temperature is in Arizona in April?  We have a small window...like 3 months, to wear sweatshirts...and April is sooo not one of those months.

I do still love it.

I do have a couple other questions for J Crew though.
And these come from the heart because truly...who does not love JCREW?
But these shorts.
They are cute.
Who is going to wear them though?
Girls who look like this I guess.

I do think it would be fun to look like this for just a day.

Ok.  Back to my list of things I love (want...wanted) love
Keep in mind...I am a female of comfort.
I do not own high heel shoes.
I think waaaaay back in my closet you can find a couple pairs of heels for emergencies.
I like comfort.
I like uggs (yup I said it...and I have had about a dozen pairs).
I like moccasins.
My favorite pair of shoes are still my Jeffrey Campbells, and I honestly almost cried one day at the food court last month when my husband dumped an entire plate of ranch dressing face down on my foot.  It was a tense couple of minutes.  I still could get angry at him just thinking about it.
They will never be the same.  But I will wear them until they wear out.
But I love these.
To some (most) they probably look ugly.
To me...I see comfort, warmth...and fabulousness with a good pair of jeans.

And please...you cannot tell me that the kid version is not adorable.
My lili-loo would rock these quite happily.
And she has very strong opinions on shoes.

And really...does anyone put together a kids outfit better than Crewcuts?
I would like to spend a day with a crewcuts stylist.

This post brought to you by Goldfish S'mores

Ok.  Not really.
Well not in THAT (sponsor) way.
But in the way that I think the new goldfish s'mores are cute enough to
A. purchase (haven't personally bought goldfish in 2 years...not sure why...I guess because I have older kids and well...like I said...not sure why
B. take a picture of them
C. post about them
So.  Here they are.

Now...before you ask (or wonder) I will answer a couple questions or thoughts you might have.
1.Yes, I make most of my kids meals with cute dipping bowls, I am big on the dipping bowls.
I like food separated so it doesn't run together. I may be creating weird eaters in the mean time...but maybe they will pay attention to presentation???  Maybe??? I hope? Nah. Their favorite channel is the Food Network Channel so all is not lost on them.
2. No I do not give my kids a snack with every meal...usually there is a veggie to go in the bowl that the goldfish is in...but since this post was about the goldfish...the kids scored!

This now leads me to a strange issue I have.  Food issues.  Texture issues.
I have 4 million photos in my iphoto files on my computer and literally NONE of them are of people eating.  I cannot look at food face pictures.  I told you I had issues.
It was not until I was taking pictures of todays lunch that I realized I can't
look at some food pictures either.
Like this one.

Do you see the Shell's N Cheese?  It is grossing me out!
This one is much better.

Ahhh...now see that?  Blurry shells.  That's kinda better.  I still prefer the first picture of just the fish.

Again.  I told you I had issues.

I also just realized that I am the Seinfeld of blogging, for instance, this post was seriously about nothing.
Sorry to waste your time:)

Never too early to think of xmas 2010

Ok.  Well maybe it is a little too early, however a couple years ago I was really on the ball and I bought most of my xmas presents for the following xmas the day after Christmas.  I was so proud of myself.
I have not been that organized since.
This year however I bought 10 of these stockings.
Personalized.
Each one was totally different and I truly loved them.
I would have blogged about them at the time...however I couldn't in the event that certain recipients of
said stockings would see the post.  BUT...if you are smart, you will place an order now for next year...then hide them away and voila...you will owe me a big ol THANK YOU come next December.
Plus!  They are on sale right now.  Trust me.  You will make someone happy.
I kinda want them.  We have great stockings...my mom made them.
They are beautiful...but they stay at my mom's house.
That's where Santa goes.
We don't have a chimney.

Just thought I would share

This was 3 years ago...but a friend had asked to see a picture of
this commissioned piece I purchased as a gift for my husband
on our 10th Anniversary...so I thought I would share:)
Sherry Rogers is the illustrator.
We have a couple of her children's books and I loved her drawings.
So after a simple google search...I found her.
She had never done commissioned pieces like this before...but man did she do EXACTLY
what I had asked her to do.  See all the little details?  It's fun...and Sherry was a wonderful
artist to work with.  I know that she did another piece for a friend of my mother's and it
was adorable as well.  Something super fun and different.  I love it.  It hangs in our hallway.
It makes me smile.  I especially like King George our goldendoodle. It is not a far stretch to see him standing up with his paws on the table asking for food.  He might as well just pull up a chair.
