Boooo you

I have had the hardest time finding the Martha Stewart Halloween book this year.
We have a Target supercenter by us and they are really terrible at restocking.
My splenda bottled starbucks have been empty for a week and a half.
Do they not realize the importance of my 3 pm pick me up?
If I don't have that 100 calories of goodness...I start reaching for other stuff.
I need my starbucks target people!

Wait...what was my point. Ooo.  That the Martha book was not there yet.
Martha would be seriously ticked if she knew that.
So a quick trip to Michaels  today turned into craft day.
And I finally found my book.
If you recall a couple posts ago...I listed some pumpkins that I loved.
Well...I thought it would be an easy craft for the girls and I.
I was right...sooooo easy.
Michaels had everything you need:
-black pumpkins (I was prepared to spraypaint orange ones...not needed)
-bag of stones (there is enough in the bag to do about 40 pumpkins I tell ya)
-bottle of glitter glue

I did mine in the time it took to heat up the oven and bake some pizza.
Bam.  Fun!

Don't ask me what her pattern was...it was called...ooooo glitter glue and sparkles!
The more the merrier:)

Yup...I totally copied a popular magazine...cough cough.
It is not like I am going to sell them now...come on.
I just wanted one for my kitchen.

Polka Dots are cute too.

My plan is to do a Halloween craft once a weekend...
so by the time it is here...we have decorations.

I also found some stuff to put in my jars.
I love to fill my glass jars with festive goodies.
Chances of my husband not eating this cotton candy are slim to none.
Oh well...I can get more:)

Am I getting you in the Halloween spirit or are you rolling your eyes at me and saying," uh...it is only the second week in september!!"
Sorry.

Another fun thing happened today.
Just a little sumpin' sumpin' came in the mail.
Makes me love Erin Condren even more...I didn't think that was possible...
apparently it is!  Ha.  Who knew!

So now...go to Micheals...get some black pumpkins and some glitter glue and start crafting.
Send me the pictures and I will do a post of all your cute kids (in their paperlili of course...ha...just jokes) making a pumpkin!

Now...what should I put on them?

So I have these 5 new pieces soon to be in stock.
I just need to figure out what to put on them.
Any ideas?

More Halloween Finds

So I just had to order a million dollars worth of tees and stuff.
Stock was low...I was missing odd sizes all over the place.
But I need a break from "studding" so I am back for more Halloween finds.

How about this apron

I am so sad...last year I had a screen door this would have worked on.
This year...I have just a plain door:(
Mr. Bones here would have been so perfect on our house when we lived in Savannah.
Man that is a fun place to live from October-December.  They know how to decorate!

This is a good site.
The Afternoon.  I have never seen it before.
It has lots of fun stuff.
Like this cake plate.

Target never lets us down now does it?

This is a fun take on the "boo" halloween fun.
It is only available online though.
Cute!

This tee from Em Tanner is darling.
I need it for myself I think.
Ladies is not an option...but I need one.
Em.  Print it for the ladies please.

Fun!  A cauldron punch bowl.

How about a cute hair doodad:)

Wow...I am all over the map tonight aren't I?
Well...then I might as well toss in my new favorite find.
I mentioned that I "accidently" colored my hair dark dark brown a couple weeks ago.
Ya.  It was semi permanent...it has not budged at all...BUT...I will say, that for a chick
with blonde totally damaged hair...I am now the proud owner of super shiny healthy...dark brown hair.  Ha.  Why is it super healthy and shiny all of the sudden. I am not really certain.
Maybe because dark hair is not as pourous as blonde hair.
For instance...you know it kills Jennifer Aniston that Courtney Cox's hair glistens:)
Never the less...here is my new favorite shampoo.
I had a bunch of ulta points so I went crazy in the shampoo section and I found my new true love.  It works.  Totally works.  No blow dry...no flat iron.  Just smoothy shiny...ironless hair.

I should try it on Peyton's hair...the will be the true test.
But I don't wanna share this one.
Did I mention that she got contact's last week?
Not that I don't love her glasses...because I do...she is super funky in them.
But we start volleyball this week and well...I didn't want her to take a ball to the face with glasses slipping down her nose.

Did you know that contacts might actually be better for kids than glasses?
Apparently they may slow down the progression of their eye failure.
Since I am basically blind as a bat and so is Steve...clearly our poor children don't stand a chance.  So far...Ainsley is ok...but it is only a matter of time.

In case you were worried about my eye site and all those rhinestones...you should lol...at last appointment...my contacts were a -8.75.  In case you don't wear contacts...that is really really bad.  If you do wear contacts...you just felt sorry for me;)

Night night.

Enough about me...lets find some cute stuff

It has been so long since I have posted cute finds from the web.
Sorry.  Truth be told, I don't have enough time to even look.
So...lets see what I can find.
Since it is flippin hot out still here...I wanna think about fall.
And my favorite holiday...Halloween.
Why do we all love Halloween so much?
Is it because it means Pumpkin lattes at Starbucks?
Or because our kids love it more than their birthdays and they plan their costumes for 5 months? Or because it signals a change of season...kinda for us Arizona peeps. Let me just say, last year I found a snake in our yard a week after Halloween...so ya...it is still quite toasty.
Never the less...I love Halloween.
And I love decorating for Halloween.
I like that my yard was the yard last year that people would come to snap pictures of their kids in.  I have a new front yard this year though...and truthfully...I don't enjoy it one bit right now.
In fact...I have two trees that I think I need to chop down...so I am contemplating chopping the branches and painting it black for Halloween...then we can remove it after.
Am I insane?  Probably.

So...cute finds on the net.
First...this book. I bought it a couple weeks ago and it is my new favorite Halloween idea book.  Gooseberry Patch Never lets me down:)

Now...we need some decor
These pumpkins from Chasing Fire-Flies
I love them...but honestly...I know I can make them.
I just need some time.  Yikes!

I kinda love this lamp shade too!  Have I officially lost my mind?
Probably.  Whatever.  It would be cool if you were having a party.
Admit it;)

Speaking of parties and fun!
Is it even possible to have any sort of celebration without TomKat Studio?
I think I need these just for me in my kitchen:)

Of course you need some tees:)

Ha.  I couldn't make it through a post without taking you to my site now could I?

However...Halloween is now a "season" not just a day....and if you are anything like my kids...we have about 5 different Halloween tees
(no...I didn't make ALL of them...only 4 of the 5)
But today in my inbox I got this little diddy.
These pictures kinda make me sad because they were from last year:(
Isn't it sad sometimes when you see how much your kids have changed in a year?
Never the less...the tees...still super cute!
Lima Bean Kids
I am not smart enough to figure out how to make the picture smaller...so I cute off half of it.
What you need to know, is that there is a sale where you can buy 2 Halloween items from the Lima Bean Kids site and you get a third free...but only today through Friday the 10th.
Click here to get to their Halloween stuff.

Of course...I always go back to cupcakes somehow.
Love the new cupcake wrappers you are seeing everywhere.
Such a great idea.
Check these ones out.  Click here.
Wouldn't be a holiday without Erin Condren making something adorable.
Halloween labels! Click here

or the matching party invites

Need some stacked pumpkins?  I do.

And two last things...because Ainsley picked them out.
First...gotta take you back to Chasing-Fireflies
Ainsley wants these jammies...unfortunately it won't be cool enough to
wear them until January.

And finally...this tee.
We are slightly obsessed with Little Fox in this house.
Me especially.  I love their tees and beach jumpers.
So here is one more Halloween tee heading into our closet.

Ok...that should do it...for tonight:)

On the mend...

So I have been sick all week.  It was not fun.
I am generally a very healthy person...why?  Because I hardly ever leave my "space" lol.
So whatever I catch...I blame directly on the two little peeps that bring home every germ they can from school.  Sigh.  It was a long week.
I still feel like _______...but my throat feels better.  I may sound like Barry White...but all is good.
So.  For today...here is what I have.

A little update on the Kindergarten Rocks "series".
Why?  Because truthfully...I was totally sick of people knocking off MY design.
So.  I thought I would update it...add in a million more stones...and I think...improve it.
If you would like the old version...it is still available (email me).  But...I do hope that people realize there is a difference between my version and my handful of knock off versions.
You get what you pay for I tell ya.
Next...how about a new initial tee.
You can pick the colors...or go solid.
Now...a cute pair of sweats

Then you can match a hoodie
(these can be done with any of the designs from my site)
You can put the pattern on the sleeve, the chest...the back. Where ever.
Make a matching set with the hoodie and the sweats.
The sweats are capris length.  They come really long and I just don't get that.
So...I can chop them off...even make a pair of shorts if you would like.

Check out this set.

This is going to a slumber party in a week.  So cute!

Ok...that's all I have right now.
Off to take my meds.
I just watched the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion and perhaps I have taken too much medicine but I swear I saw Danielle and Jaqueline hug?  What was that and could Jaqueline have looked any more uncomfortable?

Now it is Thintervention...Jackie Warner is a hottie. I tell ya.  Wouldn't it be fun to look like her?
To be that fit and healthy?  I used to love her other show she had on Bravo, Work Out with Jackie Warner I think it was called.  Loved it.  She needs to come to my house and force me to work out.
I am trying. I was doing quite well until this cold hit.  I am going to force myself to go back tomorrow morning.  Maybe I can sweat out the cold toxins.

Taking a break...

....from candy!!!

Guess what is shipping in your packages starting today???
Don't curse me if

A. you hate these crazy colorful bandz that everyone is wearing
or
B.  if you totally cannot figure out what the heck the band is...some of them truly don't look like anything to me...but still look cute all matchy matchy on the arms...and ankles.

So.  Keep your eye open.  I have all the holidays covered;)

ps.  Do you have any of the silly rings?
We have just a handful...they are about the cutest thing ever.
I need more *cough cough* my girls need more I mean.
