A new twist on an old favorite:)

It is not too late to get a number shirt for a little dude or dudette on your list.
Due to popular demand...I have now done a black version of the originally cream Kapow number tee.
This is a super SUPER soft shirt.  I love it.
You will see alot more of it in 2010 because...I love it.  Did I already say that?
So originally I figured this would be a boys tee.  But when I look at it...I love the "rocker" feel of it
and since I did go up to #6 now (yay!)
I would totally put my chick in it with a cute pink longsleeve layered underneath.
I will take a picture.  I will show you it can work for everyone.  I love it.

Check them out here.

Whooo...hoooo...now what do I do with myself?

So I literally am down to about 5 orders.  4 of which are waiting for size 6 leggings since I ran out and I should have them hopefully tomorrow or tuesday.  If you are waiting for your order...I promise you will have it this week.

Here is a little bit of yesterdays happenings.

First.  A giant grapefruit in our yard.

Next.  The party animal cupcake from my favorite cupcake place in Scottsdale.  Cupcakes:)

As you can see...it is always a hit.
I realize 99% of the population likes the red velvet the best...not me.
I go for the one with the color...and that is always the best tasting one.
Sprinkles to me are like glitter and rhinestones..the more...the merrier.

I spent the evening working on some custom shirts for the Garage in Scottsdale.
Here was the order
~size 6 jelly belly
~size 8 good n plenty
~size 10 m&m's
etc.

This is what I came up with.

I think I like the m&m's the best...why?  Because it has the most color!
I should make a starbucks one.
How cute if you actually worked at Starbucks.
Of course I can't make them and sell them for obvious reasons...but this was a fun project.

Where the Griswald's live

Things are looking up around here.  I have almost dug myself out from under all my orders.
What a great holiday season this has been!
THANK YOU !!
So I have one more day (if all goes well) of crazy order filling.  Most of it is super custom items for a shop here in Scottsdale.  Always a challenge...but always fun. And then...whooo hooo...I get to...
clean up my house and my mess and make this place look like someone did not blowup Santa's workshop.  Right now it is bad.  There are boxes everywhere waiting to be wrapped.
I have actually done a pretty good job with xmas gifts this year.
Don't ask me what I got because honestly...I am drained and my mind is blank.
So it will be almost as much as a surprise to me on xmas morning when everyone is opening their gifts.

So.  After today I promise to get back to blogging regularly and post something pretty.
In the mean time...here is a pic of my girls and I since I shun the camera on myself 99% of the time but yesterday I let my husband actually take on of me.  Of course.  I am hiding under a zillion clothes and a hat.  Whatever.  That's me.  In the winter...I live in Uggs...hats...and lululemon.
Things could be worse lol.

Here we are single handedly trying to bring back the 80's.  Crimped hair and all.

A little more crimpage... barrette by Details...shirt by paperlili (oh wait...thats me:)
We have the Sugar Plum Fairy...the Merry Kissmass and the Twinkle.
We need the fa la la la la since we already have the matching leggings that I did last year for my girls.  I did not see that option when I was ordering.

its beginning to look a lil' like christmas...

So tired.  Not much to say.  So I will just post some pics ok.

Oliver the Elf has landed.  Cracks me up every night to see where he is going to show up next.

Kinda creepy actually.

I think he liked Kit's treehouse.  Who wouldn't right?

And since we are on the topic of creepy dudes hanging out around my house...how about this one in my daughters closet today.  Can you say EWWWW.  Apparently it has good taste though.
You can't argue with taste.  Who doesn't love the Matilda Jane Pinkie Lap Dress?

Enough of the creepy creatures.  Now for a little bit of simple decorating because I am all out of ideas so I just shove things into glass jars and call it decorating.

That's right.  Your eyes are not deceiving you...those are my sacred holiday peeps-in-a-jar again.
And again...I hate eating them...so they are safe.
Now if that was a big jar of holiday m&m's...it would be gone in a day.

where or where have I been?

Forget zhu zhu pets...the gift of the season clearly is paperlili leggings!  Ha.
I never keep count of how many I actually make a week...but this photo will give you a general idea of where I have been for the past month.  This is 2 days worth of leggings.
This is not including the matching tees that go with some of them.

It has not slowed down.

I am more than grateful.  My customers rock:)

My rhinestone supply chick is the best.  She is sooo used to me emailing her with emergency orders that she needs to next day to me.  Yes...I pay a fortune for it...but it would be a big ol pain in her bootay to have me bugging her for stone asap.

Guess what someone in my family needs for xmas?
So far it is just her one front tooth...but within the next week...it will be two.
Guess I better make her a shirt:)
Actually...it is going to be real uuuuugly here because there are actually 2 more teeth dangling in there...so we will be missing 4.  Niiiiice.  So funny.  I love her.

And since I have not mentioned my dear Lyra this week...lets post a little something she took...because her pictures are much much more fun to look at than mine:)
The question is...what one to pick because I have 4million that she took...they are all good.
She is good.

Just in time for xmas baking.

I won't be baking anything just yet.

A. I don't have time yet...chipping away at the holiday rush

and

B.  If I started now...I would eat it all now. If I did that...I would be a snowman shape by xmas

but it is never to early to dream about what to bake:)

Lets start with these.  I love Layer Cake Shop.  I want everything in the shop!

so I want to make something with these

and these

then...top it off with a lil bit o snowy glitter

and then put one of these on the box and wow everyone...
who cares what the actual baked good tastes like...how can these not impress!

oh my word...I LOVE these...

These wreaths are so pretty and different.  Such wonderful colors.  Every year I think I should go back towards traditional holiday colors...green, red...nahhhhh.  I like the pink/robins egg Martha Stewart colors...and boy these are just about perfect.  Martha needs this chick on her show to show us how to make them.  Have I mentioned before...ok...have I mentioned yet today how much I love Etsy?

the real question is...which one to get?

Christmas music always helps...

Saturday I was working (go figure)...and I am not sure you have ever noticed but Saturday television really rather sucks.  It is terrible.  I was a news junkie.  For years and years...news news news.  Then I found that it is just way too depressing to get that much news every single day.  So I have turned to recording some cheesy tv at night and watching it during the day while I am working.  What I have found though...is that the news, I can drown out and work work...the cheesy shows actually require me to kinda pay attention.  This is not good.  I don't have time to pay attention.  So my latest is music.  And you know what?  I am a blinging machine when I just open the itunes and go.  LOVE IT.  Oh and the holiday music channel on our tv.  Wayyyy up there in the 800 numbers or something crazy like that...it got me through saturday and through about 20 orders.  Whooo hooo.

I think my point was holiday music. I love it.  Last year I discovered this Christmas Remix cd on itunes and I could literally listen to it over and over again.  There are two cds of it...I picked the songs I like from both of them and you need to just trust me on this one...you will love it too.
